PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste coating device detecting a remaining amount of paste in a syringe, without inducing increase of working load, or human errors. SOLUTION: The paste coating device having the syringe 1 delivering paste 4 stored thereinside from the other outlet 1b by being pressurized from one upper opening 1a, is provided with an electrostatic capacity sensor 3 detecting variation of the liquid level moved by delivering, by the electrostatic capacity varying according to the presence/absence of the paste in a detection target region. The electrostatic capacity sensor 3 has the detection target region on its side. The electrostatic capacity varies depending on whether the detection target region is the paste-filled space 5 or a paste non-filled space 6, outputting different electric signals from a cable 7.
