#CMT# #/CMT# The method for separating hydrogen from hydrogen-containing, helium rich fraction , comprises subjecting the hydrogen-containing, helium rich fraction (1) to a catalytic reaction, in which the hydrogen is converted into water by the addition of oxygen, and separating the formed water from the hydrogen released, helium rich fraction. A partial flow (7, 7', 8) of the hydrogen released fraction is supplied before the catalytic reaction. The quantity of the supplied partial flow is determined from the temperature controlling outlet of the catalytic reaction. #CMT# : #/CMT# The method for separating hydrogen from hydrogen-containing, helium rich fraction , comprises subjecting the hydrogen-containing, helium rich fraction (1) to a catalytic reaction, in which the hydrogen is converted into water by the addition of oxygen, and separating the formed water from the hydrogen released, helium rich fraction. A partial flow (7, 7', 8) of the hydrogen released fraction is supplied before the catalytic reaction. The quantity of the supplied partial flow is determined from the temperature controlling outlet of the catalytic reaction. The removed partial flow is subjected to multi-level cooling at an intermediate temperature and then is removed and condensed in a single stage by a bypass line (9). The quantity of the partial flow supplied before the catalytic reaction takes place by a regulating valve (A), a pre-directing grille integrated in the compressors and/or a regulating valve and/or control valve upstream to the compressors. A nitrogen or nitrogen rich fraction is temporarily added to the hydrogen-containing, helium fraction. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for separating hydrogen from hydrogen-containing, helium rich fraction. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method provides proper removal of hydrogen by avoiding the undesirable temperature increases in the catalytic reaction. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The diagram shows a flow diagram of a method for separating hydrogen from hydrogen-containing, helium rich fraction. 1 : Hydrogen-containing, helium rich fraction 2, 3 : Hydrogen lines 5 : Water line 7, 7', 8 : Partial flow 9 : Bypass line. |
