#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a head (2) movably fixed to a shaft by a support tube (7), and a rotatable tool plate (3) supported at the head. A drive unit drives the tool plate, where a bendable spindle (5) couples the tool plate to the drive unit. The shaft turns at a distance from the head, which is supported by the support tube that is fixed to the shaft. The support tube transfers shearing and traction forces that are exerted during working of a user on the shaft to the head, where a suction tube surrounds the support tube. The shaft has two shaft sections that are connected by a hinge. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Surface processing device i.e. grinding machine, for use by a builder and amateur for stripped processing a surface e.g. wall and ceiling, in a building. Uses include but are not limited to plasterers polishing of plasters for coatings in the wall, ceiling and a floor, painters for removal of old color applications and for polishing of a subsurface for a new paint coating, paperhangers for removal of old wallpapers and for polishing of the subsurface for new wallpapers, floorers for grinding of remaining adhesive and for polishing of the subsurface before laying a new floor covering, parquet recliners for grinding a laid parquet floor, locksmiths for grinding or derusting of metal structures in or at the building or for removing of coatings on metal surfaces. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The support tube transfers the shearing and traction forces that are exerted during working of the user on the shaft to the head, so that the pressure is exerted on the head by the support tube, thus enabling acting of the grinding material and polishing agent fixed on the tool plate on the building ceiling. The movement of the device on hard surfaces where the wall and the ceiling collide and the achieving of the uniform pressure distribution of the tool acting on the surface are hence facilitated.
