<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device using a light guide plate with favorable assembling workability and high reliability, and suitable for high luminance. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes an LED 2 being a light source, a first support member 3 for supporting the LED 2, a light guide plate 4 of which the length of the side face is longer than the width of the end face and which introduces light from the LED 2 from the end face 25 and emits the light from the side face 26, and a second support member 1 which supports the end face side of the light guide plate 4 elastically from the light source side. In other words, the second support member 1 with elasticity is arranged between the LED 2 and the light guide plate 4 and supports the advance of the light guide plate 4 into the LED 2 by its elastic force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
