<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content output authentication system capable of setting whether it is possible to output a certain content, for each pair of a user or an output instruction device and a content output device. <P>SOLUTION: In the system 1, a content output device 20 sends authentication request information to an authentication device 30. The authentication request information includes output device identification information for specifying the content output device, content identification information for specifying content, and requester identification information. The authentication device 30 stores association information such that the output device identification information, the content identification information and the requester identification information are associated with one another. Based on the output device identification information, the content identification information and the requester identification information included in the authentication request information received and on the association information stored, the authentication device 30 determines whether the content output device should be permitted to output the content specified by the content identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
