<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fracture split-type connecting rod made of a titanium alloy, easily splittable by a fracture construction method, and superior in reassembly performance, and a production method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This connecting rod is the fracture split-type connecting rod made of anα+βtype titanium alloy, including a rod body 10 and a big end 30 provided at an end of the rod body 10, the big end 30 being fracture-split.
