PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light branching technology for branching one light beam into a plurality of parallel light beams with equal strength by simple configurations. SOLUTION: A light beam is propagated between a light reflection surface and a light branching surface, the light reflection surface and the light branching surface being arranged in parallel, while being repeatedly reflected, and a part of the light beam is output from the light branching surface so that the parallel light beams can be output. In this case, the intensity of the light beam to be propagated is gradually attenuated according to the output of the light beam from the light branching surface. Then, when the light beam attenuated according to the reflection of the light branching surface, and made to reach the light reflection surface is attenuated according to the reflection of the light reflection surface, and made to reach the light branching surface again, the light beam is amplified in a light amplification layer formed between the light reflection surface and the light branching surface so the light intensity of the light beam can be made equal to the light intensity at the last arrival of the light beam.
