PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging state display unit for a vehicle capable of checking a charging state from the outside of the vehicle while suppressing battery power consumption. SOLUTION: The charging state display unit for a vehicle displays the charging state of a vehicle in which a battery mounted on the vehicle is charged from the outside of the vehicle and includes: a charging state detection means for detecting the charging state of the battery; a display means mounted on a portion visible from the outside of the vehicle; and a display control means for displaying the charging state of the battery on the display means when a predetermined display condition is satisfied.
