PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of lamp exchanging and attachment of a sound absorbing member, maintaining sound absorbing performance of the sound absorbing member. SOLUTION: A sound absorbing structure of a package tray 1 which is provided a silencer pad 30 covering most of the backside of the package tray 1 on a vehicle, the package tray 1 includes a tray body part 10 and a high mount stop lamp 20. At the corresponding position with the high mount stop lamp 20 at the silencer pad 30, a slit part 31 arranged cut surfaces 32 formed by cutting the silencer pad 30 in a butted state is provided.
