PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste decomposition apparatus capable of minimizing the production of dioxin, reliably ashing waste, and also shortening a thermal decomposition time by using a magnetic action. SOLUTION: The waste decomposition apparatus comprises: a vessel type main body 1; a feeding port 12a disposed on the main body 1, for feeding the waste into the main body 1 therethrough; a discharge port 12c disposed on the main body 1, for discharging residue after decomposing the waste therethrough; and a magnetic operation means M which operates magnetism to the waste stored in the main body 1, wherein a pressurizing means 2 which pressurizes the waste stored in the main body 1 is disposed.
