PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply electrical power to the circuit of a tomography system having tubular electrical conductors each having no overheating, though the tubular electrical conductors are manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The tomography system has a superconducting magnet 108 and gradient coils 116, and a cooling apparatus for cooling the gradient coils 116 by a cooling fluid. The tomography system includes a cooling circuit 126 which comprises a branch tube 140 for supply for supplying the cooling fluid to the gradient coils 116 and a branch tube 144 for return for returning the cooling fluid from the gradient coils 116. A cooling fluid conduit is constituted of the branch tube 140 for supply and the branch tube 144 for return. At least part of each of the branch 140 for supply and the branch 144 for return is formed of the tubular electrical conductors. Electrical connection from a power supply 124 to the superconducting magnet 108 is carried out by the tubular electrical conductor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
