An information analyzing device comprises an associated representation generating section for receiving a representation to be evaluated as an input which is a linguistic representation to be evaluated and generating a linguistic representation associated with the representation to be evaluated as an associated representation and a reliability degree calculating section for acquiring the representation to be evaluated and the associated representation with time information included, respectively, from a plurality of electronic documents and comparing between the number of appearance of the acquired representation to be evaluated and the associated representation in the same period to calculate the degree of reliability on the semantic content of the representation to be evaluated at a specific point in time.
