Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device comprising an anode, a cathode and a light-emitting unit which is arranged between the anode and the cathode and has three or more light-emitting layers containing a polymer compound. The light-emitting layers constituting the light-emitting unit emit light having different peak wavelengths, and the longer the peak wavelength of light emitted from a light-emitting layer is, the closer the light-emitting layer is arranged to the anode.
