A coin handling machine (11) that allows the coins clogged within a carrier path (67) to be automatically taken out for recovery in the event of coin clogging arising within the carrier path (67) during carriage of the coins. The coins stored in a feed-out section (31) are fed out one by one to a carrier path (67), and the coins within the carrier path (67) are pushed to be transferred with a projecting element on a deposited money carrier belt (70) at the carrier path (67). In the event of coin clogging arising within the carrier path (67) during carriage of the coins, drive of the feed-out section (31) is stopped to put an ejection gate of the feed-out section (31) in an open state, making the deposited money carrier belt (70) rotate in a direction opposite to the carriage direction. The coins clogged within the carrier path (67) are returned to the feed-out section (31) on the deposited money carrier belt (70), and are ejected downward out of an ejection gate (62) of the feed-out section (31) to be returned on a tray (20) of a paying outlet (19). The coins clogged within the carrier path (67) can be automatically taken out for recovery. |
