<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary cell inspecting method for determining the good performance of a lithium secondary cell after constructing a battery in a nondestructive manner by indirectly finding the composition and crystal structure of a positive electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: The inspecting method includes preparing the lithium secondary cell having a positive electrode active material layer containing lithium composite oxide as the positive electrode active material on a positive collector, giving at least one cycle charging/discharging processing to the prepared lithium secondary cell, measuring an opening circuit voltage value after completing the final discharge in at least one cycle charging/discharge processing, comparing the measured opening circuit voltage value V with a preset reference voltage value V<SB>0</SB>, and selecting the lithium secondary cell whose measured voltage value V is determined to be the reference voltage value V<SB>0</SB>or lower (V≤V<SB>0</SB>) through the comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
