<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular hood device in which the hood sufficiently ensures a portion equipped with a hood lifting mechanism and the amount of deformation near the portion. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular hood device 10 includes: lifting means which is disposed on the lower side of the hood 30 and operates when a vehicle comes into collision with an obstacle; supporting means which is disposed on the lower side of the hood 30 and on the upper side of the lifting means and rises when the lifting means operates; a lifting member which has a portion LD extending on the upper side from the supporting means and rises together with the supporting means to lift the hood 30; a shock absorbing member which extends on the upper side from the supporting means and is supported by the supporting means, the shock absorbing member of which end portion on the upper side can abut against the hood 30; and fixing means for fixing the supporting means to the body of the vehicle when the supporting means lifts to a predetermined position.
