<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict contents to be provided from a media server 300 to a media player 400 while IPTV contents are distributed from an IPTV server 100. <P>SOLUTION: An IPTV reproducing terminal 500 notifies a home gateway 200 of the size of a band to be used for acquiring IPTV contents. The home gateway 200 calculates the size of a band available for providing contents from the media server 300 to the media player 400 and notifies the media server 300 of the calculated size.
