<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector having desirable outside appearance even when a connection cable is connected to a connection terminal group, and requiring small installation space. <P>SOLUTION: In the outside housing 2 constituting the projector 1, an inwardly concave recessed part 281 is formed on a base part 24 side at a back part 28. The first connection terminal group 5 connected to external equipment through the connection cable is disposed in a bottom part 281A of the recessed part 281 in an exposed state.
