PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizing device in which on/off of the imparting of electric field and the application of pressure to a container part (10) in the start and stop of liquid atomization is surely performed. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizing device (1) is provided with the container part (10) for storing the liquid, a nozzle part (21) communicating with the inside of the container part (10), an electric field forming means (9) for generating electric field for atomizing the liquid in the container part (10) from the tip of the nozzle part (21) by applying a prescribed voltage and further provided with a fluid transporting means (8) for making the liquid flow out from the tip of the nozzle part (21) by increasing the inner pressure of the container part (10) by a pressurizing action. When the fluid transporting means (8) is under pressurizing action, voltage is impressed to the electric field forming means (9) and on the other hand, when the pressuring action to the fluid transporting means (8) is released, a linking means (7) for linking the fluid transporting means (8) and the electric field forming means (9) to each other to stop the impression of voltage to the electric forming means (9).
