MIST COLLECTOR UNIT

A mist collector unit for separating fluid particles from a gas flow for flue gas scrubbers and similar devices is described, comprising at least one mist collector disposed in a gas flow channel and configured as a rod or pipe collector. In order to help produce a uniform gas flow speed across the gas flow channel cross-section, the gas passage regions between the rods/pipes of the rod/pipe collector are configured in different sizes and adjusted to the gas flow speed distribution in the gas flow channel.
