<p>The joint has a ball shaped joint body (10) formed in sections and coupled with a ball pivot (12). The joint body is rotatably supported inside a support (16) of a housing (18) by a bearing insert (14). A joint gap (20) is formed between the bearing insert and the joint body. The housing has a recess (22) in which the bearing insert is inserted sectionally. The recess and/or the bearing insert is formed in a rotation symmetric and/or mirror-symmetric manner. The insert is fixed opposite to the housing by a safety element i.e. locking ring.</p>
