The belt (20) has a fabric (25) with a surface woven web structure and a connection zone (85), and limited in a longitudinal extension by two longitudinal-sided ends (40.1, 40.2). Longitudinal threads (30, 30.1, 30.2) are projected into the extension over the two ends of the fabric, and the longitudinal-sided ends of the fabric are connected together by the connection zone for endless connection of the belt. The connection zone is formed by interlacing of end sections (42.1, 42.2) of the longitudinal threads, where the end sections are overlapped with the two longitudinal-sided ends. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an endless belt for use in a paper machine (2) a pressing device for a paper machine for producing a fiber web.
