<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a wireless network for gathering data with which high continuance, reliability and robustness of data can be achieved. <P>SOLUTION: A network is divided into a plurality of clusters, data gathered by the network are split into generations, and a generation is a set of data which are gathered within a certain time period and/or within a certain local area. Furthermore, each cluster operates on a certain generation of data, the data are coded, the coded data are disseminated among the nodes of the cluster and the disseminated data are decoded by the nodes of the cluster. The invention includes: performing grouping for a plurality of clusters so that each cluster may have a successor; moving at least one generation of data from a certain cluster to the next cluster; and operating by the next cluster, after the movement, upon at least one generation of data that have been moved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
