PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provides an ultrasonic transmitting member which has a higher dimensional accuracy and can be manufactured more easily at lower cost in a shorter time, compared with conventional products. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transmitting member 16 has one end part 16a and other end part 16b, and ultrasonic waves input into the one end part are transmitted to the other end part. The ultrasonic transmitting member 16 is formed in such a way that a main mold component 10 having a negative pattern 12 corresponding to the whole profile shape of the ultrasonic transmitting member is prepared and an alloy 18 which is a base material for a metallic glass is once melted, put into the negative pattern of the main mold component, and solidified under liquid phase conditions.
