PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin which reduces a wall thickness while making mechanical strength and an insulating property compatible, and to provide a rotary electric machine using the same. SOLUTION: The bobbin 10 is manufactured by two-color molding using, for example, first and second nonconducting materials (resin) 21 and 22 of two kinds. The materials are compared with each other, and the first resin of the high mechanical strength and the low insulating property, and the second resin of the low mechanical strength and the high insulating property are employed as the first and second nonconducting materials 21 and 22, respectively. With such constitution, the high mechanical strength is achieved by the first nonconducting material 21, and the high insulating property is achieved by the second nonconducting material 22, respectively.
