PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process that can produce a minute thermoelectric conversion element of an iron silicide system with a complex shape. SOLUTION: A slurry is produced in which iron silicide powder is dispersed in water using a polymeric surfactant dispersant of a cation system such that its solid volume proportion becomes 50% or more, this slurry is casted into a mold fabricated in a predetermined shape to form a thermoelectric conversion element through dehydration, and in due time, sintering and annealing is done on it.
