PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a situation that a condition of an elevator car before abnormal communication occurs is continuously displayed, even when abnormal communication occurs between an elevator control panel and an elevator monitoring control device. SOLUTION: This elevator monitoring control device 6 controls an elevator monitoring panel display panel 7, on which a plurality of lamps are arranged, serially communicates with an elevator control panel 1, and displays a status of an elevator car 3 by lighting on the lamps of the elevator monitoring panel display panel 7. The elevator monitoring control device 6 has means for detecting that serial communication is down between the elevator control panel 1 and the elevator monitoring control device 6 by blackout or shut-down of a power source of the elevator control panel 1, and lights off a predetermined lamp of the elevator monitoring panel display panel 7.
