PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate discrimination of a flap end part forming a flap interval when determining the folding precision of a cardboard box by taking an image of the flap interval formed on joining part of the cardboard box in the box manufacturing process of a cardboard sheet. SOLUTION: In a method of inspecting folding precision of a cardboard, the folding precision of the cardboard is determined by detecting whether the flap intervalsΔf<SB>1</SB>,Δf<SB>2</SB>formed on the bonding part of the cardboard box 01 which is polymerization bonded by the bonding piece 014, and cylindrically formed and then flattened are within a normal range. The folding precision of the cardboard box is determined by detecting the flap interval by attaching a liquid or solid contrast agent (t) for coloring the cardboard sheet part S forming the flap interval or a cardboard sheet part adjacent above and below the flap interval so as to have a different color from the color of the cardboard sheet, photographing the image of the flap interval with an image-taking device 40, and extracting the flap interval from the photographed image.
