PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear end face chamfering tool capable of wholly eliminating burrs and excessive thickness parts in a gear tooth face generated by roll-forming (plastic working) after phrasing, when heat treatment is performed for a gear to be cut without shaving the gear after phrasing the gear, and a tooth shape (tooth flank) grinding process or a tooth honing process is performed after the heat treatment is performed, that is, the tooth face is cut. SOLUTION: This gear end face chamfering tool is a phrasing tool 1 for machining chamfers 4a and 4b of end faces of an acute angle side piece tooth face of the gear 4 being a material to be cut or both tooth faces on an acute angle side and an obtuse angle side. A gear-shaped tool 2 being a gear-shaped burnish gear for eliminating and machining burrs and excessive thickness parts 5a on the tooth face sides after machining by the phrasing tool 1 is assembled integrally with the phrasing tool or manufactured as an integrated object.
