The assembly has an injection device (18) and a pump (30), where the pump supplies the injection device over a reaction central line (34) with a reaction medium. A switching device (32) is provided by which the direction of flow is reversed in the reaction central line. The pump is a bi-directional pump and the switching device is a controller. An independent claim is included for a method for operating an injection device.
