Disclosed is a folding mechanism including two folded rollers, which are attached so rockingly to a folded finger as to hold the displacements of a carcass band in a circumferential direction and in a meridian direction. The folded roller in front of a rocking pin is prevented from wheelie, and the folded roller at the back of the rocking pin is prevented from being fitted in the clearance of the boundary between a bead lock segment and a bead. A rocking member (302) is supported at the leading end portion of a folded finger (301). A rocking pin (305) is equipped at its front and back with folded rollers (303) and (304). The rocking member (302) is equipped, on the back of a central portion, with a rocking-angle restricting member (306) for restricting the rocking angle of the direction (counter-clockwise of the drawing), in which the rocking member (302) leaves the surface of the end portion of the carcass band, to a predetermined value or less.
