<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device including a control unit that optimizes the display position of an image to be displayed therein based on a test signal so that it may coincide with the position of a photodetection section. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: the photodetection section 104 that is disposed making the photodetection port thereof face the front side of a display section 103 configured to display pieces of display information through the use of light from the rear side of the display screen, and that measures brightness of the information displayed in the display section 103 and outputs the measured brightness information; and the control unit 110 configured to display the image generated based on the test signal that is equivalent to the shape of the photodetection port of the photodetection section 104, on the display section 103, then, move the display position of the image generated based on the test signal on the display screen inside the display screen, and then, display the image generated based on the test signal in a plurality of positions near the photodetection section 104, and measure the brightness on the display screen, and then, specify the position of the photodetection section 104 based on the image generated based on the test signal, referring to the brightness information from the photodetection section 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
