<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric energy and reduce noise generated by unnecessarily high airflow. <P>SOLUTION: A method of controlling a motor includes the steps in which a motor is operated in an operation mode without fan at an ambient temperature lower than a falling temperature, the motor is operated in a silent operation mode at an ambient temperature is higher than a falling temperature and lower than a rising temperature, and the motor is operated in a cooling operation mode at an ambient temperature higher than a rising temperature. When the motor is operated in the operation mode without fan, the number of rotations of the motor is set to zero per minute, and when the motor is operated in the silent operation mode, the number of rotations of the motor is constant. When an ambient temperature is higher than a rising temperature, the number of rotations of the motor expressed as a linear function of temperature and varies between the rising temperature and the maximum temperature corresponding the maximum number of rotations of the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
