<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery since heat generation accompanied by an excessive charge in the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is efficiently restrained at favorable responsiveness to heat generation and the thermal runaway of the battery, and to surely prevent the breakage and explosion of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 10 including a positive electrode 11 having a positive electrode active material layer and a positive electrode collector, a negative electrode 12 having a negative electrode active material layer and a negative electrode collector, a separator 13, and an electrolyte, a conductive material having a positive resistance temperature characteristic at a contact surface between both active materials or the active material and the conductive material is made to exist in the active material layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
