<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always generate a proper bar-code suitable to a use environment in spite of changes of use environment of the user. <P>SOLUTION: The bar-code generation system 900 for generating bar-code configuration information for printing a bar-code measures widths of a black bar and a white bar on the basis of an image obtained by reading a test chart 600 in which a black bar and a white bar for a bar-code are printed with respective widths of the numbers of different dots, and calculates the number of dots of the width of the black bar and the width of the white bar to be set during printing so as to make the printed widths of the black bar and the white bar of the bar-code regulated magnitude on the basis of the measurement result as the correction value of the bar-code. Then, when a user's use environment is changed, an alarm is output to urge the user to perform bar width recorrection based on printing and measurement of the test chart. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
