<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power distribution system capable of distributing DC power having different current levels to a number of sites while extending a wiring distance. <P>SOLUTION: The DC power distribution system includes: a main distribution board MPB containing an AC/DC conversion device 3 for converting AC power supplied from an AC power system AC into DC power; and a plurality of distributed distribution boards SPB1-SPB4 containing a DC/DC conversion device 10 for converting DC power supplied from the main distribution board MPB into DC power of a desired level. A DC power of a relatively high level is supplied from the main distribution board MPB to respective distributed distribution boards SPB1-SPB4. In the respective distributed distribution boards SPB1-SPB4, the DC/DC conversion device 10 converts power into DC power of a desired level for supply to a load. This can reduce the effect of the voltage drop caused by a wiring resistance.
