<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet capable of achieving the enhancement of corrosion resistance and the lowering of demagnetization. <P>SOLUTION: This permanent magnet 1 is a permanent magnet produced by providing a buffer layer 3 comprising, for example a Cu layer on the surface of a magnet element 2 containing rare earth elements and by further providing a protecting layer 4 comprising an Ni-P-Cu layer having a Cu content x of 0<x≤0.1% by weight on the surface of the buffer layer 3, in which by lowering a coated film stress (residual stress) after a heat treatment of the protecting layer 4, the demagnetization can be suppressed and the corrosion resistance can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
