<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter head device for a glass cutting machine which can solve scoring line working defects such as the curving, discontinuity and fluctuation in depth of the scoring line arising upon the increase of a working speed, and further can prolong the life of a cutter wheel. <P>SOLUTION: A cutter holder 14 is provided with bearings 22, 22. The bearings 22, 22 are slidably in contact with the guide face 19 of a head body 18, and guide the advance/retreat movement of the cutter holder 14 with respect to a glass plate G in a state where the twisting of a leaf spring 16 is regulated. In this way, when the cutter wheel 12 passes through the undulation of the glass plate G, the leaf spring 16 is elastically deformed only in the original direction without being twisted, and consequently the cutter wheel 12 moves only in the direction orthogonal to the surface of the glass plate G, and smoothly passes through the undulation. By the above stable operation of the cutter wheel 12, the scoring line working defects such as the curving and discontinuity and fluctuation in the depth of the scoring line can be solved, and further, the life of the cutter wheel 12 can be prolonged to about double to the device in the patent document 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
