<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of preventing or decreasing spatiotemporal discontinuity of a composite image even when a heartbeat cycle fluctuates. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an ultrasonic probe; a scanning control section for receiving a trigger signal output for each heartbeat cycle from outside and repeatedly scanning an ultrasonic beam for each trigger signal with respect to each of division regions obtained by dividing a desired diagnostic region of a subject into the prescribed number of regions; a storage part for converting collected reflecting signals into image display data and storing image display data in quantity of a period in which the whole diagnostic region is scanned more than once; and an image generating part for selecting the division region according to an order of spatial arrangement of the division regions without being bound by temporal order of acquisition to generate and update an image of a whole diagnostic area by combining image display data in the selected each division region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
