<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp tool capable of facilitating the operation of crimp pliers for crimping a connection element. <P>SOLUTION: The crimp pliers 2 are provided with a crimp jaw 5 that constitutes an insert for a connection element. The crimp jaw 5 is designed and disposed to move radially to the longer axis of the insert for adding a radial crimp force to the connection element. In order to provide a crimp force by hand, and actuating the crimp jaw 5, hand levers 3 and 4 are provided. The hand levers 3 and 4 are disposed on one surface. The surface is positioned to the longer axis 14-14, and parted to two half surfaces by the longer axis 14-14. The hand levers 3 and 4 are disposed on one half surface. A transmission unit transmits translating action along the longer axis 14-14 in the flow of a force between the hand levers 3 and 4 and the crimp jaw 5 to be rotating action around the longer axis 14-14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
