PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent tripping device 5 of a circuit breaker 1 which has a simple structure and makes the circuit tripping time constant irrespective of displacement of a fixed position of a terminal seat 9. SOLUTION: In the overcurrent tripping device 5 of the circuit breaker 1, an overcurrent tripping element 11 is formed thinner toward its end, and even when the overcurrent tripping element 11 is not parallel with an engaging piece 12 due to displacement of a fixed position of a terminal 6, a distance between the engaging piece 12 and the overcurrent tripping element 11 can be held.
