PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar-shaped sensor fixing device for adjusting a sensor configuration position several times when a bar-shaped sensor is installed to a to-be-observed section, facilitating a replacement of the sensor, reducing a deformation of a O-shaped ring and the possibility of a damage, and surely fixing the sensor. SOLUTION: The bar-shaped sensor fixing device comprises: the O-shaped ring with a thermal resistance and an elasticity; a recess for disposing the O-shaped ring; and a flange with a penetration hole into which a sensor provided in the center of the recess is inserted. The recess is shallower than a thickness of the O-shaped ring. A corner in the back of the recess is formed so as to be rounded and fitted to the O-shaped ring. The O-shaped ring is disposed within a recess of the flange. The sensor is fixed and sealed by fastening it by use of a sensor attachment section of the to-be-observed apparatus and a fixing means. The fixing means including the fastened attachment section of the apparatus and the flange uses a universal screw. The O-shaped ring is formed from a fluorinated elastomer.
