摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a copper alloy conductor which achieves the production of a Cu-Mg based copper alloy conductor with excellent productivity at a high yield by performing casting or the like in the air, to provide the copper alloy conductor, to provide a cable, and to provide a trolley wire. SOLUTION: Regarding the method for producing a copper alloy conductor, a copper base material 1 is melted to prepare a copper alloy molten metal 3, the copper alloy molten metal 3 is used to be subjected to continuous casting rolling, so as to form a rolled material 5, and, using the rolled material 5, a copper alloy conductor (e.g., a copper alloy wire 7) comprising, by mass, 0.05 to 1.0% Mg. It is characterized in that the copper base material 1 is charged with a copper alloy comprising 2 to 43% Mg as an additional material 2, and the additional material 2 is melted together with the copper base material 1, so as to prepare the copper alloy molten metal 3.
