摘要 836,011. Joints for panels etc.; partitions and wall linings. STOLPMANN, K. May 17, 1956 [May 21, 1955; June 27, 1955], No. 15479/56. Classes 20(2) and 20(4) [Also in Group XIV] A joint for panels, parts of cupboards &c., comprises two members A, B, having undercut ridges 1, Fig. 4, of pointed or trapezoidal cross-section adapted to be engaged together in opposite directions and secured by a dowel 7. Panels have frames 8, Fig. 8, with ridges 1 fitted together in this manner with the side plates 9 abutting and a strip 10 in one frame engaging a slot 11 in the other and are locked by a dowel plate in transverse slots. This modification is shown adapted for a glass partition, Fig. 9 (not shown). Panels are attached to walls by means of vertical strips 20, Fig. 11, secured to the wall 17 by rag bolts 18 and having ridges engaging ridges on bars 21 at the sides of panels 22 which are held in position by a strip between the top of the panels and the ceiling. A corner strip 24 also has ridges engaging the ridges on the strip 20. In a modification, in place of the strip 24 one bar 21 is made so wide that it projects beyond the edge of its panel and serves as support for the next panel, Fig. 13 (not shown). Parts of a cupboard are connected by the ridged bars secured to the parts, which are assembled by first engaging the side walls 32, Fig. 17, with the base 30 by movement in the direction of the arrow a, the back 34 in the direction of the arrow b and the top 35 in the direction of the arrow c. The ridges are of wood, metal, plastic, &c.
