<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food composition, a pharmaceutical composition and a skin-care preparation for external use, each containing, as an active ingredient, a compound having a high type I allergy-inhibitory effect and having a type I allergy-prophylactic and/or -curative effect. <P>SOLUTION: The food composition for preventing type I allergy contains kaempferol-3-glucoside as the active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating type I allergy contains kaempferol-3-glucoside as the active ingredient.
