<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception quality indicator that achieves enhancement of precision for estimating the reception quality even when the receiving environment has changed, and which enables righter quality estimation and indication. <P>SOLUTION: The reception quality indicator 10 includes first, second and third estimation means 16, 17 and 18. The first estimation means 16 estimates the reception quality after data demodulation based on a threshold set to deviation of eye pattern, for estimating the reception quality of the output of a tuner part 12 for receiving digital transmitting signal in a prescribed frequency band and a data demodulating part 13 for demodulating the receiving data of the tuner part. The second estimation means 17 estimates the reception quality based on a technical method other than that of the first estimating means by deviation of the eye pattern. The third estimation means 18 obtains reception quality output as a receiving apparatus by correcting the reception quality estimating information from the first estimating means by using at least one reception quality estimating information from the second estimating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
