<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device capable of high speed driving, and capable of achieving both saving energy and high precision by improving the accuracy of a stop position when energization is shut off after driving a motor to a predetermined position, and to provide an optical apparatus with the motor driving device. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driving device includes: the motor having coils and a rotor; a rotor position detecting means to output signals according to positions of the rotor; and a control means for driving the motor to a target position using a first drive mode in which an energized state to the coils of the motor is switched according to the output of the rotor position detecting means and a second drive mode in which the energized state to the coils is switched at determined time intervals. When it is detected by the rotor position detecting means that the position of the rotor is dislocated from the target position after energization to the coils is shut off by drive completion to the target position, the control means performs energization to the coils for a predetermined time under an energization condition at completion of driving the motor to the target position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
