<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which can be inspected whether it is properly soldered to a printed wiring board by means of an automatic inspection apparatus, and to provide a power supply unit. <P>SOLUTION: A transformer T is to be mounted on a printed wiring board 100 by using a surface mounting technology, and comprises a coil bobbin 1 having multiply-wound coils N. The coil bobbin 1 is provided with multiple terminal portions 2, having coil terminals 20 to which the ends of the coils N are connected and mounting terminals 21 which are electrically connected to the coil terminals 20 and are soldered to lands 111 of a wiring pattern 110 formed on a mounting surface 101 of the printed wiring board 100. Specific terminal portions 2A of the multiple terminal portions 2 are formed so that the coil terminals 10 do not overlap, with a portion of the mounting terminals 21 in a normal direction of the mounting surface 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
