<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aliphatic polyester resin composition which has excellent moldability and mechanical strength, and for which deposition of oligomers originating from the aliphatic polyester resin on the surface is suppressed, and to provide a molded body thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The aliphatic polyester resin composition contains at least the aliphatic polyester resin, starch and an organic compound containing hydroxyl group. The organic composition containing the hydroxyl group of 3 mass parts to 40 mass parts is blended into the aliphatic polyester resin of 100 mass parts, and the content of cyclic dimers incorporated in the aliphatic polyester resin is within the range of 1,000-10,000 ppm.
