SYSTEM FOR UPDATING STORED INFORMATION OF NETWORK CONNECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update network device configuration and firmware even if there are errors in update files.

SOLUTION: A maintenance information update system is composed of a DB which stores device information, a management device which manages devices and network connecting devices. The network connecting devices are provided with a storage means for storing the latest data and factory shipping data. If necessary, the network connecting devices acquire device information stored in the DB through a device management server, and if there are problems in the acquired data, the network connecting devices reacquire device information using factory shipping data.
